Please share a memory of Rebecca to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rebecca Lynn Robinson went to her eternal reward on August 17, 2023. Robinson, 74, was surrounded by loved ones when she passed, following a brief illness. A long time Northrop Gruman employee, Robinson took great pride in being part of the “B-2 Team’s” aerospace success. Born Rebecca Lynn Aulerich on September 28, 1948 in Harrison, PA, she moved to California as a young girl. After graduating from Anaheim High School in 1966, Robinson worked in retail before marrying Gary Robinson in July, 1977. Following her husband’s untimely passing, she moved to California’s High Desert and began a career with Northrop Gruman in Lancaster, CA. At the midpoint of her career, Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Redlands (‘95). When not occupied with her cats, reading Janet Evanovich novels, watching Sandra Bullock films, or attending hockey games with friends, “Aunt Becky” was working to solidify her reputation as the Southwest’s Greatest Gift Giver. Robinson also was a mainstay with the Quartz Hill Women’s Club, serving in multiple positions over the years. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Margaret Aulerich, her brother, Richard Aulerich, and her husband, Gary Robinson. Aunt Becky is survived by her cat, Spencer, and her great nephew and niece, Noah and Brooke Aulerich, whom she always kept in a special place in her heart. Finally, her loss is mourned by her Antelope Valley family including Sandy Garland, Kevin, Cheryl, Emily, and Joseph Mahady, Dean, Sarah, Maddison, and Heather Treusdell. They will all miss her greatly and her seven-layer-dip at every holiday.
