My Aunt Becky was the best of the best. She was there for me my whole life, and she never missed a holiday or birthday. She flew to Pittsburgh to be with me for my nursing school pinning ceremony when my parents couldn’t come, she texted me during every Chicago snow storm to make sure I was safe, and she helped me look for nursing jobs when I moved back to California. Even though we weren’t blood relatives, she was my aunt in every sense of the word, and her love showed no limits. There is a hole in our family, but I know you are at peace now and snuggling up with your cats. I will miss you forever, Aunt Becky. I am so thankful to have known you and been loved by you.
