Arlene Eddington Shaw Obituary

Beloved wife of the late Richard Alvin Shaw, passed away due to complications from dementia on January 3, 2023, in Lancaster, Calif. She was born on January 8th, 1936, City of Angel's Hospital, Los Angeles. she was 86 at the time of her death.


A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday January 28, 2023 at 11:30 am

Arlene is survived by her two sons, Richard and Robert Shaw, three grandchildren, Sara, Rachel and Richard Aaron Shaw, plus one great-granddaughter, Calin.


Arlene tragically lost her husband in 1963 in a car accident. This left her alone to and raise her two sons. She worked as a waitress and at Diners Club to provide for their every need. She raised them to be honorable, community serving men. She raised her boys in the San Fernando Valley and after they were grown moved to Lancaster, California to live with her best friend, Beverly, of 50 years. Arlene lived out the remainder of her life there. Arlene was loved by all she met due to her wit and sense of humor, She had many friends and will be greatly missed by all.
