Obituary of Sherri Froelke

“Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us.” On August 20th, 2022 Sherri Froelke née Tabat passed away at age 55 and was welcomed in heaven by her father Michael Tabat, nanny and pop, Aunt Annie and grandmother Babalou. Sherri was born on August 9th, 1967 in Weehawken New Jersey. Daughter of Michael Tabat and Jean DelCampo, sister to Michele DeSocio and Gina Cardenas, aunt to her nieces and nephews and friend of many. While Sherri resided in West Hills California she was a Jersey Girl at heart - just ask anyone that’s tasted her homemade gravy (or pasta sauce). Sherri loved to dance on the beach with her Zumba community and dreamed of becoming an instructor in San Diego - to inspire people to dance in the sunshine. Sherri’s biggest joy was being a mother to her daughter Paige Froelke. She loved being a mom and sharing the magic of motherhood - from trips to Disneyland and writing letters from Santa to lunch by the beach and mother daughter shopping trips - Sherri gave Paige wonderful memories to last a lifetime. In the 25 years of Paige’s life Sherri made sure to show her that her love is eternal and the magic of motherhood is always with her. Sherri’s family will hold a private celebration of life to honor Sherri’s wishes of dancing on the beach in San Diego.
