Iva Jean Lineback Plaster was born May 1, 1924 in a sod house on a cattle ranch north of Ellsworth, Nebraska. She was born the ninth of fourteen children to Paul & Ocia Lineback. In 1943 Jean married Harvey Plaster and over the years they had six beautiful children together. She devoted her life to her children while working as a baker's assistant and cake decorator. Jean was a committed follower of Jesus Christ. She often shared how God had used the trials and hardships in her life to strengthen her faith and trust in the Lord. It was important to her to help people know God's love through loving and helping anyone who needed it. All to the glory of God! Jean will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for her faithful trust in the Lord, her kind and giving nature, her never-ending hospitality and her devotion to family. Her final days were spent surrounded by her children and she went peacefully home to be with her Savior on November 8, 2021. Preceded in death by husband Harvey, daughter Nancy and infant son Roger. She is survived by her sons Dennis Plaster, Dale Plaster, Eldon Plaster, Craig Plaster, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
