In a life taken from us far too soon, our beloved Robert entered into the eternal peace and comfort of God's arms in a way that defined his life; with adventure and on his own terms.

He is the loving son of Julia Vaday, stepdad Anthony Ricci, and father Harold Childers (Debbie), grandson of Shirley Vaday. He is survived by his remarkable children Nathaniel Zayne and Avery Madison Childers, sisters Amy (Eric) Zimmerman, Farah Ricci ( Favian Reyes- Espinoza) , Adrianne (Guy) Koomer; special partner of Crystal (Barackman) Morrison; neices and nephews Joshua (Naomi), Zachary, and Emily Zimmerman, Ethan Childers, Paige and Quinn Koomer, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his brother Marc Childers, great grandmother Dorothy Angel , grandfather Stephen Vaday , and other grandparents who knew him when he was a precocious toddler.

Before health issues consumed him, Robert was a doting father, partner, son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. His friends and family remember him in recent years with great fondness during amazing and joyful times.

His life will be well celebrated.
