Billy Gene Sanders Jr passed away peacefully in Lancaster, CA, on January 10, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, son, and brother. Born in Los Angeles, CA on December 19, 1959, to Billy and Mildred (Carma) Sanders, Bill Jr, was a loving partner and husband to Lori (Drake) Sanders for 22 years. Bill Jr worked for the Los Angeles Postal Service for 15 years and later for the State of California Dept of Corrections & Rehabilitation as an IT Supervisor, which he retired from after 11 years in 2022.

Bill Jr was passionate about music, sports, and his various hobbies. His love for his fur babies Sadie, Tessie and Dexter was well documented with many kisses, treats and snuggles.

Bill Jr was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, many aunts, and uncles, his two sisters Rebecca Harms, Jacqueline Aubart-Morford, and brother Stephen Sanders. He is survived by his wife Lori (Drake) Sanders, sisters Lori Sanders, Gina Holzinger, and Teri (Tim ) Armendariz, daughter Linda Sanders, and son Billy G. Sanders III, as well as four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
