Idonya "Donsee" Jones, a devoted servant of Jesus Christ and beloved member of her community, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Palmdale, California. She was 46 years old.

Born on October 12, 1979, in Los Angeles, California, Idonya brought light and warmth into the world from the very beginning. Her radiant smile and kind eyes left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Known affectionately as “Donsee,” she carried herself with grace, humility, and an unwavering commitment to her faith.

A faithful follower of the way of Christ, Idonya lived her life as a testament to God’s love. She was known for her prophetic and Seer abilities and embraced her calling with courage and compassion. Her ministry extended far beyond the walls of any church—she took to the streets to evangelize, sharing the gospel with boldness and sincerity. Whether speaking to strangers or comforting loved ones, she proclaimed God’s love with conviction and joy.

Idonya’s life was marked by selflessness. As a mother, she lovingly cared for her son Dashawn Calloway with strength and devotion. Her nurturing spirit also extended to her family—her mother Diane Weatherspoon; stepfather Bobby Weatherspoon; sisters Carmen Foster, Latanya Foster, Jamila Washington, Terri Smith, and Monique Edward; and brother Bobby Weatherspoon Jr.—all of whom were touched by her deep love and unwavering support.

She found joy in simple pleasures that reflected her appreciation for God’s creation: visiting the zoo or aquarium, spending time at the beach, attending Bible study sessions, and engaging in heartfelt evangelism. These moments were not just hobbies but expressions of her reverence for life and her desire to connect with others through shared wonder and faith.

To those who knew her, Idonya was more than a sister or friend—she was a beacon of hope. Her presence could brighten any room; her words offered comfort; her actions inspired others to live with purpose.
