Donald Wright was born on September 6, 1950, in Palmdale, California, and peacefully passed away on November 5, 2025, in his hometown of Palmdale.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mabel Cummings (Lutz); father, Felix Wright; brothers, Gilbert Wright, Stephen Wright, and Howard Cummings Jr.; and sisters, Juanita Cummings and Janice Wright (Bench).

Donald is survived by his loving sister, Linda Bertsch, and many nieces and nephews: Jason Bench, Tanya Denman, Brandy McCann, Jeremiah Shaw, Chase Shaw, Trisa Peoples, Travis Cummings, and Destiny Wickham. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Bo Shaw.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. Over the years, he worked in many fields, including as a taxi driver, apartment manager, and security officer.

He was a devoted member of The Vineyard Church and found great joy in attending the senior center with his friends and listening to gospel music. Donald was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
