Makito Moore, beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer at age 65. Known for his adventurous spirit and unwavering individuality, Makito lived life fully and on his own terms.
A proud Japanese American, Makito loved riding dirt bikes, exploring new health trends, and dedicated decades to his work as a surveyor for the Department of Water and Power. Above all, he cherished his family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and joy.
Preceded in death by: Shigeko and Glenn Moore
Survived by: Daughter, Jennifer Amber Moore; Francie Lynn Davidson; sister Wanda Baez; grandchildren Ezra, Araiya, and Royce; nieces Ali and Jenna
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a come when you can leave when you want. No specific time to start. Open microphone for sharing memories, favorite stories, or experiences with Makito. His favorite music will play, a photo reel playing and there will be more information about Makito’s final ride—“Ride Like the wind, Live like Makito.”
