Antonio Almeida was born to Delores Jean Almeida and Edward Joseph Almeida on February 24, 1957 in Galveston, Texas. He, along with his brothers Gabriel and Darryl, and his sisters, Lolita and Yvette grew up in Weimar, Texas.
Antonio graduated from high school and joined the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force his only daughter, Nichole Michelle Almeida, was born.
In 1986, Antonio moved to Illinois with his daughter. He dedicated his life to the Lord and joined Progressive Church of God In Christ (Progressive Life Giving Word Cathedral) along with his family in 1987. He worked with the church as a member of the deacon’s board until 1993.
As years went by, Antonio moved back to Texas and worked. In 2013, he met the love of his life, DeAnne Marye. They were married on March 5, 2013. Antonio and his wife were happily married and later moved to California where she continued to care for him. They did everything together and went everywhere together.
Antonio loved the Word of God, music and all his family and friends.
In May of 2025, Antonio became seriously ill. On May 25, 2025, Antonio was called home to be with the Lord.
He preceded in death his mother, Delores (1969), his father Edward (2003), His brother Gabe and sister Lolita in 2023.
He leaves behind his wife, DeAnne Marye (Earley) Almeida, his daughter, Nichole Michelle (Samuel), his loving grandchildren, Asia, Thai’Lin, Melai, DJ, PJ, Desiree and Shilus, one great granddaughter, Ny’Ava, his sister Yvette and brother Darryl, and a number of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
