Mary "Kino" Ramirez Obituary

It is with great sorrow and sadness to announce the passing of of Mary”Kino” Ramirez January 29th in Palmdale due to a brief illness, she was surrounded by her family and loved ones, she was 95 years young. She is survived by her daughters Ona (Ken) Ramirez-Romero, Aggie(Jack)Violante, Bobbie Howell and sons Thomas”Tj” Ramirez and Marcus”Marc”(Melissa)Ramirez.

12 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great grandchildren and 2 sibling’s numerous nieces and nephews . She is proceeded in death by her husband Tommy Ramirez and daughters Roberta”Bobbie (Ray)Ramirez and Rita(Gilbert) Ramirez. She was a lovingly , kind and giving mother, sister, grandmother and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren which she shared a close bond with all, she was their Gg, Grandma Sugar and Grandma, she truly will be missed. She loved the game of Baseball , in her younger years she played for the first Latina league in Simi Valley her team was called the Simi Valley Sluggerettes(1947) she enjoyed playing softball very much. She loved her Los Angeles Dodgers,her Butterflies and the color green, Freddy Fender , George Strait , and Little Joe and her Daytona (family Pet) for many years she touched many lives while she worked at ARC and was dedicated to working with special needs individuals. To her family and to all that knew her she was a very special woman, so kind, so loving the sweetest and best mom ever. Never once complained ,she only had kind words to say about anything and anyone. She was strong in her faith and we will miss her terribly.
